Por volta de 23h20 da
noite de ontem (24), noite de natal, os seis vereadores que conseguiram o
habeas corpus deixaram a Penitenciária Juiz Plácido de Souza (PJPS). Por
estratégia da defesa, os edis Neto (PMN), Jajá (PPS), Evandro Silva (PMDB),
Sivaldo Oliveira (PP), Louro do Juá (PS) e Val das Rendeiras (PROS) saíram
protegidos por parentes e evitaram falar com a imprensa. Apenas Jajá desejou
feliz natal aos jornalistas e Evandro Silva pediu para que as pessoas lessem o
salmo 40.
Nessa quinta-feira (25) a equipe de advogados
entra em ação para conseguir a soltura dos vereadores Eduardo Cantarelli,
Pastor Jadiel, Val e Cecílio Pedro sejam soltos ainda no dia de Natal.
QUATRO VEREADORES CONTINUAM PRESOS.
Quatro vereadores não conseguiram ainda o
direito de deixar a Penitenciária Juiz Plácido de Souza. Por causa da falta de
pagamento de fiança, os vereadores Cecílio Pedro (PTB) e Val (DEM) só serão
liberados nesta quinta-feira (25), pois terão de pagar 25 mil reais cada um de fiança. Já os
vereadores Eduardo Cantarelli (PS) e Jadiel Nascimento (PROS) não conseguiram encaminhar
a tempo necessário o processo ao Desembargador. Todos podem sair da prisão no
dia de Natal.

O juiz José Fernando
Santos de Souza, da Vara da Fazenda Pública de Caruaru, no Agreste de
Pernambuco, determinou por 180 dias a suspensão das atividades dos vereadores
Jadiel Nascimento (PROS), Sivaldo Oliveira (PP), Val das Rendeiras (PROS),
Cecílio Pedro (PTB), Val (DEM), Louro do Juá (DEM), Eduardo Cantarelli (PS),
Neto (PMN), Evandro Silva (PMDB) e Jajá (PPS), presos na última quarta-feira
(18), durante a operação “Ponto Final” da Polícia Civil.
A informação foi
confirmada pela assessoria da Comarca de Caruaru. Segundo o assessor, Bruno
Chagas, a decisão já está valendo. “Eles ainda podem recorrer da decisão, mas
enquanto não fazem isso, fica valendo o que foi determinado pelo juiz. Até
mesmo se eles chegarem a recorrer pode ser que a determinação não seja modificada”.
A assessoria não soube informar quando a determinação saiu, nem se os
parlamentares receberão alguma remuneração durante a suspensão.
Em conversa com os
advogados dos primeiros vereadores que deixaram a prisão, eles disseram que os
edis devem recorrer ainda semana para reassumir o caso.
