Dois marginais tomaram de assalto na noite deste domingo (22) no
distrito de Pão de Açúcar, em Taquaritinga do Norte, um veículo Fiat Pálio de
cor branca, placa KIA-7982. Os ladrões fugiram pela BR 104, sentido Caruaru e a
Polícia Militar foi acionada, pegou a BR 104 e nas proximidades da cidade de
Toritama, os policiais visualizaram o veículo roubado e começou a perseguição e
quando os marginais perceberam a aproximação da viatura, saíram em disparada,
passaram pelo perímetro de Toritama e quando passavam pela Vila Canaã, que já pertence
a área rural de Caruaru, acabaram perdendo o controle da direção e sobraram em
uma curva e capotaram o carro e foram presos pelo policiamento.
Os acusados Eduardo Silva dos Santos, vulgo “Sopa”
de 24 anos, que mora na rua Paraná, no bairro Cruz Alta, em Santa Cruz do
Capibaribe e Josinaldo Luiz Souza Silva, de 25 anos, que mora na
rua do Açude, bairro São José, em Surubim, foram socorridos para o
Hospital Regional do Agreste (HRA) em Caruaru, em seguida foram apresentados no
plantão da Delegacia Regional, onde foram autuados em flagrante e foram
encaminhados ao presídio de Caruaru.
