Policiais civis da 19º Delegacia de Homicídios de Caruaru, sob o
comando do delegado Dr. Márcio Cruz, prenderam na tarde desta
terça-feira (17), José André Alves de Andrade, de 18 anos, residente no
sítio Malhada das Caveiras, em Caruaru e apreenderam um adolescente de 16 anos,
acusados de matar o engenheiro civil. Edmilson de Paula Pinto, de 54 anos,
encontrado morto a tiros na manhã de ontem no loteamento São Miguel, ao lado do
North Shopping, em Caruaru.
De acordo com o delegado Márcio Cruz, os acusados
planejavam assaltar o engenheiro, pelo fato deles saberem que ontem haveria o
pagamento dos funcionários da obra e acreditando que o mesmo estivesse com o
dinheiro da empreiteira. O José André, ligou para o engenheiro por volta das 21
horas da segunda-feira e disse ao mesmo que havia um problema na obra, o
engenheiro preocupado foi ao loteamento e foi abordado pelos acusados que
anunciaram o assalto, mas como a vítima estava com pouco dinheiro, foi morta
com 3 tiros. Os acusados confessaram o crime, e disseram que ambos atiraram
contra a vítima, chateados por não terem encontrado o montante de dinheiro.
A arma usada no crime não foi localizada e o delegado disse que
existe um 3º envolvido que já foi identificado e está foragido, ele deve estar
com a arma usada no episódio.
José André, foi autuado em
flagrante por latrocínio e em seguida foi encaminhado a Penitenciária Juiz
Plácido de Souza (PJPS) em Caruaru, enquanto que o menor foi autuado por ato
infracional e foi encaminhado a Funase local.
