A Polícia Civil de
Pernambuco, deflagrou na manhã desta quarta-feira (18) em Caruaru, a “Operação
Ponto Final”, que teve como finalidade, prender pessoas envolvidas em esquema
de corrupção e deu cumprimento a 10 mandados de prisões preventivas contra os
vereadores da situação: Jadiel Nascimento (PROS), Val das Rendeiras (PROS),
Sivaldo Oliveira (PP) e Cecílio Pedro (PTB) e os vereadores da oposição: Val
(DEM), Louro do Juá (DEM), Eduardo Cantarelli (PS), Neto (PMN), Evandro Silva
(PMDB) e Jajá (PPS).
Além dos 10 mandados
de prisões preventivas, a operação também resultou no cumprimento de 04
mandados de condução coercitavas e 13 mandados de busca e apreensão domiciliar,
expedidos pelo Juiz de Direito da 4ª Vara Criminal de Caruaru.
De acordo com o
Diretor do Interior 01 (Dinter-01), delegado Dr. Salustiano Albuquerque,
as investigações tiveram início há 6 meses e o resultado da Operação “Ponto
Final”, será apresentado amanhã amanhã as 8:30h, na sede da Polícia Civil de
Pernambuco, pelo delegado que preside o inquérito Dr. Erick Lessa. Ele informou
ainda que participaram da operação, 120 policiais civis, entre delegados,
comissários, agentes, escrivães e que os dez vereadores foram encaminhados ao
IML, para serem submetidos a exames traumatológicos e em seguida serão
encaminhados a Penitenciária Juiz Plácido de Souza (PJPS), em Caruaru.
Todos são acusados de prática de concussão, crime
descrito no código penal como a exigência de vantagem em função do cargo
ocupado pelo servidor público.
