Os vereadores Val e Cecílio deixaram a penitenciária juiz Plácido de Souza, em Caruaru, na noite desta quarta-feira (25).
Os dois foram liberados depois de pagarem fiança no valor de R$ 50 mil,
cada. O valor foi fixado pela polícia para o crime de posse ilegal de
armas. Durante a operação Ponto Final, desencadeada na última semana, os
dois foram encontrados com armas irregulares, dentro de casa.
Outros dois vereadores continuam presos: Eduardo Cantarelli e Jadiel.
Amos aguardam o mesmo benefício que já liberou os outros oito edis desde
a terça-feira.
Dez vereadores foram presos, em Caruaru, suspeitos de formar uma
quadrilha que estaria tentando extorquir a prefeitura para aprovar
projetos do executivo. O inquérito ainda não foi finalizado.
