O advogado do suspeito Dr Carlos Medeiros, disse que só está
no caso por que acredita na inocência do suspeito.

O jovem Alceu José da Silva, de 19 anos, que era casado e
morava na rua Duarte Coelho no bairro Salgado, foi assassinado a tiros nesta
quarta-feira (05) em Caruaru. Por volta das 12:30h, ele foi atingido com vários
tiros, quando estava dentro de um veículo de lotação na Praça do Rosário, no
Centro da cidade e morreu no início da noite no Hospital Regional do
Agreste (HRA).
Na tarde desta sexta-feira (06), um dia após o assassinato,
compareceu na 19ª Delegacia de Homicídios de Caruaru (19ª DPH), o jovem,
Jefferson Barbosa Silva Souza, de 18 anos, que mora no bairro Salgado. Ele é
suspeito de ter sido o condutor da moto que foi utilizada na morte do jovem Alceu
José da Silva.
Apesar das acusações contra o seu cliente, o advogado, Dr.
Carlos Medeiros, garantiu que Jefferon é inocente, ele disse que no momento
em que aconteceu o crime, o rapaz estava acompanhado de amigos no bairro
Salgado, no entorno do bairro São João da Escócia e que só está trabalhando em
sua defesa por não ter nenhuma dúvida sobre sua inocência.
Perguntado sobre a ligação do seu cliente com a vítima, o
advogado afirmou quer o mesmo teve um desentendimento recentemente com a
vítima, mas que resolveram através de uma conversa. Perguntado sobre se teria
orientado seu cliente, ele disse que sim apenas para que falasse a verdade e
caso houvesse alguma dúvida, não iria defendê-lo em hipótese alguma. Perguntado
sobre o por quê do seu cliente ter desaparecido no dia do crime, o advogado
afirmou que foi pelo cliente ter ficado assustado com a morte do jovem Alceu.
O jovem foi ouvido pela equipe do delegado Márcio Cruz, em
seguida foi liberado.
