Ontem por volta das 11:00 hs da manhã, a delegacia de Tacaimbó, foi
solicitada pela assistente social do município, para acompanhar uma
averiguação de maus tratos a idoso. Segundo a assistente social, por diversas
vezes havia estado no local, porém, a pessoa que cuidava da idosa, Maria
Abreu de Souza, 63 anos de idade, filha da vítima, não permitia sua entrada no
imóvel, com isso havia relatado este fato ao Ministério Público de Tacaimbó,
que autorizou a entrada dos assistentes para verificar as condições em que se
encontrava a idosa; Que ao chegarem ao local encontraram a vítima, a Sra.
Maria Abreu da Silva, 88 anos de idade, sobre uma cama, em um dos quartos
da casa, apresentando manchas nos membros e tórax (aparentemente grandes
hematomas causados por agressão física), além de quadro de desnutrição e sem
conseguir falar.
Segundo as testemunhas familiares da vítima, que encontravam-se no local,
as únicas pessoas que residiam naquele imóvel era a vítima e sua filha, Maria
Abreu de Souza, responsável por cuidar da idosa, e ainda confirmaram
as testemunhas, terem conhecimento de que Maria Abreu de Souza, tinha
comportamento violento com a sua genitora, fato segundo elas, dito pela própria
vítima, dias antes durante uma visita, quando esta ainda conseguia falar.
Diante dos fatos
providenciou-se o imediato socorro da vítima, sendo encaminhada para a UPA, em
Caruaru, onde veio a falecer, posteriormente foi dada voz de prisão a acusada,
a qual foi conduzida a Delegacia de Tacaimbó, juntamente com as testemunhas,
para as providências legais cabíveis e após a autuação em flagrante
delito, a imputada foi levada a Colônia Penal Feminina de Buíque.
