e afirmou que não teve culpa alguma no ocorrido.

Por volta das 11 horas e 30 minutos da manhã desta sexta-feira
(13), dois irmãos morreram em uma colisão de trânsito na Avenida Leão Dourado,
próximo a entrada da Vila do Aeroporto em Caruaru. Severino Francisco da
Silva, de 66 anos, e o irmão João Francisco da Silva, de 69, que
eram aposentados, moravam na mesma casa, na rua Guaratinguetá, no bairro Caiucá
e trafegavam em uma veículo Fiat Elba de cor branca, placa, KIF-7074 de
Caruaru, sentido Centro/ Alto do Moura e colidiram frontalmente em um caminhão
baú, marca Wolkswagen, modelo 8160, de cor branca, placa KLK-6904 de Jaboatão
dos Guararapes.
Segundo o motorista do caminhão Maurício Manoel, ele foi
ao Distrito Industrial de Caruaru para descarregar o caminhão e no retorno
acabou colidindo o seu caminhão no Fiat Elba, que por imperícia, imprudência e
por problemas técnicos do condutor do Fiat Severino Francisco, o mesmo
invadiu a faixa contrária e bateu de frente no caminhão e morreu no local. O
Samu foi acionado e socorreu João Francisco ao HRA, mas o mesmo morreu á
caminho do Hospital Regional.
O filho de Severino Francisco, Siomar Lima, disse que o
pai estava acompanhado do irmão, indo a um sítio da família e no caminho
sofreram o acidente. Ele não soube precisar se o pai era cardíaco ou se tinha
outros problemas de saúde.
