Numa ação conjunta realizada no final da manhã desta
segunda-feiraentre o cabo e o soldado do NIA (Núcleo de Inteligência do
Agreste) e os policiais da equipe Malhas da Lei Cabo Albuquerque, Cabo
Erivaldo e soldado Jair, resultou na prisão de Edmir José da Silva,
de 40 anos, residente na rua Antonio Martins, no bairro Vassoural, pois segundo
denúncias Edmir possuía várias armas de fogo, mas os policiais foram ao seu
endereço, onde funciona uma oficina mecânica e nada encontraram e ao irem a uma
outra casa sua na Vila Rafael, zona rural de Caruaru, encontraram uma
espingarda calibre 28 com 3 cartuchos intactos.
O acusado e a arma com as munições foram apresentados no plantão
da Delegacia Regional de Caruaru, para avaliação da delegada de plantão Dra.
