Por volta das 6:30h de hoje (quinta-feira, 07), um homem foi
executado com vários tiros, na ponte sobre o Rio Capibaribe, que liga a Vila
Canaã em Caruaru a cidade de Toritama. José Wellington da Silva, de 29
anos, que morava na rua Pedro Celestino, conhecido Beco de Marcelo, na Vila
Canaã, zona rural de Caruaru.
Segundo a esposa da vítima, Deise Cristina, o marido saiu de
casa por volta das 6:25h e ao passar pela ponte que liga os dois municípios
guiando uma bicicleta, foi executado com vários tiros. O crime ocorreu ainda na
área pertencente a Caruaru, por isso o crime será investigado pela polícia caruaruense.
Segundo a irmã da vítima, Luciene Maria, o irmão que era natural
de Bonito e já teve passagem pelo presídio por ter sido acusado de homicídio em
Palmares e há um ano estava em liberdade. Ela informou ainda que o mesmo era
usuário de crack e maconha e que devido ao seu envolvimento com o errado já
esperava o pior.
Este foi o 2º homicídio do mês de novembro em Caruaru e o 123º
do ano de 2013 na cidade.
