Por volta das 16h00 do sábado (19) a polícia recapturou o foragido Wagner
Alexandre de Almeida, 42 anos, vulgo ‘Wagner da Carne‘. A
prisão aconteceu próximo a uma fazenda na cidade de Valença no Piauí, Sul do
Estado.
O criminoso foragiu na madrugada da última sexta-feira (18) na
altura do Km 187, na BR-316, após assassinar o Agente Penitenciário Sandro
Joaquim da Silva, que era conhecido por “Sandro Rupinol”, que trabalhava na
Inteligência da SERES-PE, enquanto era recambiado do Maranhão para o Estado de
Pernambuco. Algemado, ele conseguiu pegar a arma do ASP e efetuou os disparos.
O outro ASP, Wallas Ferreira de Sousa Lima, que estava dirigindo a
viatura tentou reagir, mas acabou perdendo o controle do veículo, que capotou
na BR-316, próximo da cidade de Valença-PI.
De acordo com a Polícia, no momento em que foi recapturado,
Wagner ainda estava usando as algemas e chegou a falar para alguns populares
que tinha sido vítima de assalto. Uma pessoa reconheceu o criminoso e acionou a
polícia. “Essa pessoa chegou a oferecer um café para ele e conversar para poder
ganhar tempo até a chegada da polícia”, relatou o delegado.
Durante a abordagem, ‘Wagner da Carne’ tentou reagir
contra um dos policiais, mas foi contido.
Desde a sexta-feira, a polícia já havia montado barreiras e
iniciado buscas na região para localizar o criminoso. Homens do Grupo de
Repressão ao Crime Organizado, Força Tática e até um helicóptero da PM
participaram da operação.
O criminoso foi transferido para uma Delegacia de Teresina-PI,
de onde será recambiado para o Estado do Pernambuco.
