Uma árvore caiu em pleno Centro de Caruaru no início da tarde desta sexta-feira mas não houve vítimas. Um funcionário da Companhia de energia, que estava no local, disse que a rede elétrica não sofreu nenhum dano porque, uma semana antes. eles efetuaram uma podação preventiva que “salvou” a rede elétrica.

Em nota, a Defesa Civil informou que não houve riscos com a fiação derrubada pela árvore que caiu na Rua Cel. Limeira, pois são fios da rede de telefonia. A Embratel foi avisada e esteve no local fazendo os reparos. A Diretoria de Meio Ambiente removeu, ainda ontem, a árvore.
A Destra orientou os motoristas para que eles trafegassem por ruas paralelas.
